It was my daughter who came up with this recipe. We have lemonade trees growing in our backyard. Lemonades are a cross between an orange and a lemon. They look like a lemon but the skin is an orangy yellow and the flavour very much like their name, lemonade. I got a cute present from my sis-in-law which was the ice-cream cone shaped icy pole holder thingys - what would they be called? My brain isn't working right now, if you know comment below!!! Anyhoo, she wanted to make something yummy so this is what she mixed together:
2 lemonades - removed outer skin and the skin around the fruit so only the juicy pulp went in
1 10 year old handful of frozen raspberries
1 small lemon
1/2 tbsp sugar (more or less to taste)
6 ice cubes and about 50ml of water
Add all to a blender, blend until combined and then add to the icypole holders and freeze until hard.
Soooo delishus and easy to make!

Great idea! I had never heard of a lemonade tree so I learned something new here. I need a popsicle mould myself. Going to pick up one this week and an ice cream maker.
Yum...perfect for a hot day. What a wonderful tree to have in the backyard.
