Please Explain...?

I thought I would start this post because I have come across some weird and interesting items, signs, ads, and products in the last couple of months. I have posted some funny youtube videos in the past, the kinds of videos that make you laugh and can change and bad day into a not so bad day. These items that I have below are just funny things that I have come across and would like to share.

I love lychees and anything lychee flavoured. This was on a bottle of Lychee flavoured water that I purchased at one of my favourite asian groccery stores. You can get this drink at most asian groccery stores. I was sitting in the car waiting for the kids to finish school and got bored, so I thought I would read the back of the label. I thought this was hilarious!! Unfortunately for me, I did not feel as though my desires had been pampered nor that a brave new world of sensousness was opened to me. Maybe I didn't drink it right!

This next one, I really don't know what to say about it other than it totally shocked me! The story behind it you might be wondering? Well, I was dressing up Bollywood style for my Halloween party. I have always been fascinated with Henna tattooing. I like it because its so artistic and creative and it only lasts on your skin for 7-10 days.  So I checked out prices for Henna on ebay and came across this.

I'm not sure that I want to know what the 'placenta' part really is.....or do I? If someone knows, please share:)

Double Dream Hands - my kids are so into this!!

Move over Miley Cyrus with the hodown throdown! This is what my kids are totally into at the moment!! We found this youtube video on a friend of ours facebook comment and since then the kids have been hooked. I have not seen my daughter glued to a youtube video like this since she was practising the hodown throwdown (not sure if that spelling is write but ykwim, right?). Check it out, its hilarious and infectous, I too wanted to learn the dance! Who knows, maybe we might load up a family video of our family doing Double Dream hands!!Hahaha!!!

I've also added for your entertainment, double dream feet which is done by the same guy. He really loves to dance!! He also went on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and danced with her staff. You can look that one up on youtube ya self!!

HOW COOL ARE YOU?

I find this post kinda funny and rather twilight like. I shall explain. I was listening to 106.5FM today with Claire and the other guy(terrible but I can't think of his name right now) on my way home from the gym and they were talking about a time in their life when they felt really cool! The guy related an experience when he was about 15 or so when he was wearing sequent jacket at a dance. Kinda funny!
Claire's experience is of when she went to a club and her friend knew the DJ and they were waved up to go back stage to where the COOL people hang out! So of course she too felt COOL!! Had to have a laugh at that too!

As for me, I was thinking about this today and tried to think back when I thought I was truly cool! I remember when I was in high school feeling awkward about myself and not feeling part of the crowd because I didn't want to do drugs, smoke, or allow a boy to touch me inappropriately. So yeah, I felt a little awkward, but still didn't want to challenge my standards. I did feel cool the day we had to do Public Speeches. I had my class rolling around the floor in laughter and I got a perfect score from my teacher and I was pretty much the talk of the grade. I then felt the pressure in subsequent years to beat myself in humour and shock performances, which I did successfully each year. Even the COOL kids thought I was COOL! I got over my awkwardness not long after the success of my first speech and while I didn't always feel COOL, because Highschool is such a pain in the butt and the bully was still the bully, even though she thought you were ok that day, she would still hate you tomorrow for now particular reason! It gave me the confidence I needed to show people who I really was, even though I would not give in to the peer pressures around me.

Well, that kinda got a little serious all of a sudden, didn't it? To chill us out a bit, here are some funny pics I came across when I was checking out CRAZYTOWNMAYOR's blog. The twilight experience occurred because of the radio show talking about COOLNESS and then I came these funny picks on her blog about being too COOL!!

YOU WILL NOT STOP LAUGHING AT THIS!!!

So I felt like I needed a bit of a laugh and decided to head on over to YouTube, as there is always something on there that brings a smile, a chuckle, and sometimes a fit of uncontrolable laughter!!

Now I am one of those naughty humans that find it funny to see others fall over - not if you hurt yourself though, that's not funny:( But I do laugh when others have a little trip or wobble, not sure why, but it has always been the case. Some say I am horrible, but others laugh along with me. On the upside, I do laugh when I trip over, and if I haven't hurt myself, join in on the laughing with those around me!! So I am a good sport!

Anyhoo, I came across this clip on youtube, and was in fits of laughter. I laughed so hard, my sides hurt and dare I say it but my pelvic floor muscles did not protect me for just a second!!! So if you are feeling a little down and need a good pick me up, check the video out, it should not dissappoint:)

This next one is a little gross, but the most precious part about the clip is the reaction of the news reader!

WHAT THA.....?

I miss Rove and I miss this segment he used to have. Not sure why he stopped doing this segment, it was always hilarious! For those of you who don't know what or who is Rove. An australian comendian, Rove McManus had a live variety show here in Australia, much like a Dave Letterman show. One of the segments was called, What tha....? It is similar to fail.org and sites where they show weird photos or funny adds in magazines, or engrish translations in other countries, that kind of thing. Anyway, I was looking through my junk mail catalouge, I think it was the Reject shop, or something like that. Sidetrack, I love junk mail!
Back to my story. I came across this picture advertising some interesting coloured wool and the jumper you could make using it. I wondered, What tha....? Who would ever make a jumper like this and make their kid wear it? I don't know, you be the judge, but I would never be that cruel to my kid!
