The Phenomenal World of Street Art - Pinterest Power!

I remember as a child seeing a man use interesting pieces of chalk that looked strikingly different to what I had at home on my chalkboard easel. This chalk was all the colours of the rainbow and it was square or rectangular and he was making something that looked like a piece of art, that was more like a world that I wanted to walk into, just like on Mary Poppins! The picture was glorious and it was my introduction to street art. The pavements were the canvas and we,the critics.

I will always stop to watch an artist using his chalk on the pavement, it is something awe inspiring, but I must say, the photos I have come across on Pinterest are pieces of street art that I have never witnessed in the flesh, but really wish I could.  There really is something to say about how creative the human mind is. If you are ever concerned for the world in which we live and worried about where we are going, check out websites that envelope human creativity at its best and you will feel rejuvenated and even inspired to try something new and reconstruct your views on the world and humans. Here are a few pieces from my personal Pinterest board which I hope will enkindle something within you. Used wisely, the human mind is an amazing place of creative wonder.  Which one is your favourite? Enjoy:)

They're amazing, aren't they ? I've seen the second one before but all the other ones are new. I think my favourite is the light switch. Thanks for linking up to FYBF !
